Viktoria Soltesz

CEO, Founder at Soltesz institute

Viktoria is building the standards and structure for a new role, recognising payment and banking as a standalone industry. With over 23 years in banking, payments, and taxation, Viktoria designs strategies built on how banks think, making sure money moves smoothly, safely, on time, and at optimal cost, while avoiding frozen or blocked funds, cash flow disruption, and unnecessary risk. She runs an accounting, audit, and tax consulting firm in Cyprus, setting up global corporate tax structures, and founded PSP Angels out of frustration at not having the answers to the most basic banking and payment questions. Everyone has an issue with payments and banking, but no one knows how to resolve them! Viktoria developed the Soltesz Payment Framework, which is used by international companies worldwide. The same vision led to the creation of the Soltesz Institute, which is the home of the first and only EU MBA in payment and banking. The Institute is a globally recognised, independent certification body for the industry. Viktoria has advised several payment and financial institutions over the years. Today, she is a regular speaker at industry conferences and summits, advocating for an ethical and transparent payment and banking industry, where we share best practices, create standards, and make sure no one is taking financial advantage of anyone's lack of knowledge. She shares her expertise about the industry in the book Moving Money: How Banks Think, which was a bestseller, and The CPayO: Chief Payment Officer, The Role Which Doesn't Exist (but should!), which came out in September 2025. Both can be purchased on any Amazon platform. Viktoria was awarded Businesswoman of the Year in 2023 and 2025, and PSP Angels was awarded Payment Consultant of the Year in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The Soltesz Institute was also awarded Best Payment and Banking Education Platform 2025 by multiple independent organisations. Her specialty is handling complex payment and banking issues by connecting tax, operations, UX, risk, and finance into one coherent strategy with both strategic vision and practical innovation.
